At first glance, Red Wing Health Center seems like a very hectic environment. Every day there are patients, family members, doctors, therapists and medical staff going to and fro throughout the day. However, we have gone to great lengths to ensure that you are provided a quality home-like atmosphere in which to receive care.
Our first priority is always the medical care and safety of each guest who has entrusted us with their care. That said, we believe that our patrons deserve and expect the highest quality of life while they are here.

ROOM
We offer both private and semi-private rooms. Room choice is based on availability and patient need. Whether a short-term or long-term stay, you are encouraged to make your room your own—some suggestions which have been very popular are bringing pictures of family and friends, a bedspread or furniture such as a favorite chair. (We do ask that you consult our staff before bringing large items due to the potential for a risk of falling.) Each room is wired for cable television and while the Acute Rehab rooms contain local telephone service, private telephones are available in all rooms. |

BUILDING
Red Wing Health Center has a high proportion of private rooms (Over 70%). If a private room is unavailable, we make it a priority to ensure a suitable roommate. PHOTO
There are several lounge areas located throughout the facility for quiet relaxation. Red Wing Health Center oversees the Mississippi River on its north side and on a sunny summer day, the view is spectacular. PHOTO |

Licensed social workers advocate for non-medical needs. The assist in discharge to home or more independent settings when medically appropriate. |

The scheduled activities program includes exercise, music, social gathering opportunities, internet (available on 2nd & 3rd floors), cable television & community outings. |
