All nursing homes essentially charge the same rate per patient determined by a state mandated system called "Case Mix". Essentially, nursing homes perform assessments to determine the total amount of health care and rehab services a patient uses. That information is put into a category scale and the patient is billed accordingly. There are separate formulas for Medicare, Insurance, and VA patients. If you would like more information on billing, please call our business office.
Note: Because we bill in advance for services, the initial case mix is estimated. Any overage or shortage is added to the next bill.
